Juicy berries like blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cranberries, and strawberries are packed with skin-boosting benefits, thanks to their vibrant colors and rich content of phenolic compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, and phenolic acids. These compounds offer antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiviral properties.

Along with the well-known benefits of vitamins C and E, carotenoids also play a key role in keeping your skin healthy. Let’s turn our attention to another marvelous group: polyunsaturated fats. These include omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are also beneficial to your skin. And the best part? You don’t need to look far to find them – chia seeds, hemp seeds, walnuts, and flaxseeds are all fantastic sources.

For an added glow, did you know that rice water has some marvelous benefits for your skin too? To prepare it, simply rinse half a cup of rice, soak it for 30 minutes, or boil it with extra water. Strain the liquid into a clean container and use it fresh, or let it ferment for 1-2 days before refrigerating for enhanced benefits. Rice water can be used as a gentle facial cleanser, toner, or mist, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and revitalized.
