Today I would like to share a neat tip on how to make a paracord monkey’s fist toy that is effective and entertaining for feline-people. You will need a wooden dowel, 550 paracord, a marble or cat bell, and an optional cord for the handle. Position the marble or cat bell between your fingers and wrap the cord vertically 3-4 times around. Then tie four horizontal wraps at a 90° angle, followed by four additional passes through the loop to form the knot. The slack is slowly tightened one cord pull at a time, ensuring all wraps are neat and side-by-side. You can utilize a knitting needle or strong chopstick to help with tightening. For the handle, make a few notches in the dowel to assist in securing the cord with a constrictor knot. The excess cord can be cut and melted to keep it from fraying. The cord’s tail however, can be frayed into a tassel. A handle wrap utilizing the West Country wrap pattern can then be tied along the dowel for grip. You and your feline friend will love playing with this cool toy!

Need a little humor boost? You’re in luck. Here’s today’s joke “Slippery Season.”

It was a crisp autumn afternoon, and Mia was walking home from school with her dad. The sound of crunching leaves and laughter could be heard as they were cracking jokes.

“Hey, Dad, want to hear a joke I made up?”

“Of course!”

“In what season do kids slip the most?”

“Winter? Because of the ice?”

“Nope! Fall!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Violet in Canada
