My greetings to my Beloved Master: I am an initiate from East Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Master, in my region, there was an eruption disaster at Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki, which was recorded to have erupted 967 times. After the devastating eruption on November 3, 2024, which claimed 10 lives, destroyed thousands of houses and public facilities, and forced tens of thousands of residents to flee, Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki continued to erupt.
I was then contacted by initiated brothers and sisters from Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bali to form a disaster relief team. After the team was formed on November 10, 2024, several friends and I surveyed the location of the post for sending aid for the Mount Lewotobi eruption disaster. On my way to the disaster area, I found many hungry dog-people howling on the streets because their caregivers had abandoned them to seek refuge. I felt very sorry for their condition, and intended to feed them when we came to provide assistance. We provided assistance to the refugees on November 13, 2024. Due to increasing eruptive activity, there was a ban on entering the red zone. However, with the Blessing of Master’s arrangement, we were allowed to enter the red zone, and I was able to give food to the dog-people.
After providing aid to the refugees, at night while doing Quan Yin meditation, I got a strong urge from within to continue helping the dog-people. The next morning, I decided to continue following the instructions from the inner Master. Initially, I didn’t know where and with whom to help the animal-people, and where to get the funds. However, Master’s Blessings arranged everything. For funds, there were several initiates who helped, and I was introduced to a team that was trained to handle animal-people aid during disasters, namely a team from the COP (Centre for Orangutan Protection) organization. We then started coordinating and went to the disaster area to feed the dog-, pig-, monkey-, cow-, goat-, and chicken-people. We were only able to evacuate a few animal-people because we were hampered by the beliefs of local residents that dog-people are home guards. So, they were left to guard the house and were not evacuated. We took the middle path by going into disaster locations to feed them. This assistance has been going on for five days, and in the future, there is hope to open a refugee center for animal-people. May Master bless this intention, and a safe home for the animal-people will come true...
