Did you know salt (sodium chloride) can help clean burnt surfaces? There are several different techniques. The first one involves dissolving 40 grams (2 tablespoons) of salt into water and then pouring this mixture over the burnt area. Allow it to sit for an hour and then use dishwashing liquid to scrub the stains off. The second method entails boiling a salt and water mixture in a burned pot, and then soaking it for an hour prior to washing. The third method involves using a coconut oil and salt mixture, and then using a cloth to rub the stained areas vigorously in a circular motion. Avoid these methods on stainless steel, aluminum, or pans with nonstick coatings since salt can scratch them, and lead to pitting and rust on stainless steel. Happy cleaning!

Some lighthearted humor might just lift your spirits, and the joke of the day is about to be aired. This one’s entitled “Clever Kids.”

An industrious police officer found the perfect hiding place to catch speeding motorists.

One day, the officer was amazed when everyone was under the speed limit, so he investigated and found the problem. A 10-year-old boy was standing on the side of the road with a huge hand-painted sign that said “Radar Trap Ahead.”

A little more investigative work led the officer to the boy’s accomplice, another child about 100 meters beyond the radar trap with a sign reading “TIPS” and a bucket full of change at his feet!

And now we have a heartline from Yena in South Korea
